How To Cancel Chef’s Plate

If you have tried the service and now wish to make changes to your order, skip a delivery or cancel your subscription, keep reading this post.

Editing Your Chef’s Plate Meal Plan

If you would like to modify your delivery, you should follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Chef’s Plate account;
  2. Visit the ‘Subscription’ tab of your ‘Account Settings’;
  3. Select the week that you would like to change.
  4. Go to the ‘Menu Page’. You will see a red box with all the information about your order.
  5. Select the number of meals you want to receive and select ‘Save Changes’.

Upon completing this action, you will receive an email from Chef’s Plate confirming that your modifications have been received.

Skipping A Delivery

If you would like to skip a delivery, all you have to do is:

  1. Log into your Chef’s Plate account;
  2. Go to ‘Delivery Schedule’;
  3. Pick the week you would like to skip.

With Chef’s Plate, you can skip up to 4 months in advance. You can also pause your orders by logging into your account and changing your account status from ‘Active’ to ‘Paused’.

Here is what you should do to cancel an order that has already been placed:

  1. Log into your Chef’s Plate account;
  2. Find the week you would like to cancel and click on it;
  3. Go to the ‘Menu Page’;
  4. Select ‘Cancel Delivery’ (at the top right).

Keep in mind that you must inform the company about your decision to skip or cancel a delivery until the weekly cut-off date – Wednesday the week before delivery at 11:59 PM EST.

Canceling Your Chef’s Plate Subscription

Here is what you should do to cancel your Chef’s Plate subscription:

  1. Log into your Chef’s Plate account;
  2. Click on ‘My Account’ and scroll down to ‘Account Information’;
  3. Under the ‘Delivery Details’, click on ‘Pause Your Account’;
  4. On the next page, select ‘Continue to Pause’.

Please take note that any orders that have been processed before pausing your account will not be canceled.

Refund Policy

Chef’s Plate may compensate you for any defective items that you receive. Compensation also includes delivery charges.

After you cancel your subscription, you will receive a full refund from Chef’s Plate not later than 30 days from your notice or alternatively within 30 days from receiving a confirmation that you are qualified for a refund.
