Foodstirs
Best For
Best for parents who want to share the art of baking with their little ones
Menu/Meal Plans
Foodstirs is not your typical meal delivery service, as it provides its customers with a wide range of baking kits, so it doesn't feature a menu.
Recipes/Meal Options
With Food Stirs, you can choose from around 8 baking kits and 20+ baking mixes. You can also opt to subscribe to the service.
Meal & Recipe Variety
Foodstirs offers a variety of creative baking kits and baking mixes that are certified kosher, vegetarian-friendly, and nut-free. The only gluten-free item is the Organic Vanilla Frosting Mix. All items are vegan-friendly, but the recipes call for milk and dairy, so vegans need to use adequate plant-based substitutions.
Food Quality
Foodstirs baking kits and mixes are made of ethically sourced ingredients of the highest quality. All Foodstirs items are certified organic and non-GMO. Even the decorations are made with healthy, natural, plant-based dyes. Foodstirs is also the only quick-scratch baking brand that uses the most sustainable, organic, unrefined biodynamic sugar.
Nutritional Value & Portion Size
Foodstirs baking kits and mixes normally yield multiple servings, with one serving containing around 150 calories. Due to the nature of the products, the sugar content and carb content are not low and the baked goods you make are not nutrient-dense, although they are made of top-quality organic ingredients.
Subscription Flexibility
With Foodstirs, you can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting the company via phone. Cancelation requests received after the 10th day of the month shall become effective the following month.
Refunds
If you have any complaints about your order from Foodstirs, you can contact the company by email by the 15th of each month and you may receive a replacement in your next order.

I purchased the organic brooklyn salted chocolate chip with sea salt brownie mix and it turned out terrible, how on earth can a brownie come out so wrong , hard as a rock on the outside so when i went to slice it it almost broke my knife, it was extremely hard the inside was fine but its all over the place and i was going to serve this to company tomorrow and it looks like i will have to make something else. very disappointing

We loved every kit we ordered, particularly out of this world donuts. It is easier that I thought, the decorations are beautiful and I love that it’s organic.

I’m not much of a baker and I thought that I could never make the treats look as good as the ones in the photos, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is not that hard at all. I served the cake pops and pop-corn cupcakes at a party last week, everyone loved them!

The kits could be a bit cheaper, but you do get the molds and stuff that you get to keep, so I guess it’s ok.

I have used two prior meal services - both that we liked but got tired of after 6 months or so. We are both excellent cooks, but lack time and keeping us out of grocery stores saves a lot of money and waste. The number of selections and variety attracted me. I'm not a huge lover of the the way the recipes are written. It isn't 6 steps. All is crammed into 6 boxes . However, to date with a few months completed we are fans of the meat and fish purveyor that is used and all ingredients have been included and the ingredients were all fresh. We have had more items that we would repeat then not. Even the ones that we don't love still have an element that we would do on our own (possibly with a bit more seasoning).

Very disappointing. I had originally signed up for three (3) weeks. When I signed up, I changed my first week’s order from 4 to 3 meals and swamped them for something else. When I went to check on my order the day before its scheduled delivery, it had been changed back to 4 meals and ones I did not want including pork. I was so disappointed I canceled my future orders. I could have been a great customer but if you can’t get the first order right, I prefer not to take any chances on the future ones. Lastly, for one of the four meals I did not receive a recipe card.

At first, Marley seemed a bit expensive to me, but it’s been 2 months now since my first delivery and I’ve noticed I’ve been spending much less money on food. The recipes are clear enough and I usually like them all, I just like my food spicy so I often add some extra salt and chili. Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to offer extra spices, this way I always worry I’ll ruin the meal if I pick the wrong spice.

Today is my one-year anniversary with Marley Spoon, just wanted to say: you guys rock, looking forward to another year! I started ordering because I had to start eating more healthily, now it’s hard for me to imagine my week without picking out and trying out new recipes, it’s really cool and I honestly look forward to every delivery. Btw, I started dating this really sweet girl 2 months ago, she seems really impressed by my cooking, told me I’m marriage material, so thanks MS, you kinda helped me get a girl :D
