Chicken & Shrimp Box
If you do not like red meat, the gorgeous Chicken & Shrimp Summer Cookout box may be a perfect choice. It can feed 6 to 8 people and it costs $115. Included in the box are 1 main dish, 3 sides, and 1 fancy dessert. If you opt for this box, you get:
- Spanish-spiced chicken and shrimp livened up with chimichurri sauce;
- Red rice and veg salad drizzled with aromatic oregano vinaigrette;
- Panzanella with marinated veg and parmesan dressing;
- Corn on the cob with the spicy addition of tzatziki and za’atar;
- Grilled peaches with balsamic glaze and mascarpone for dessert.
Shrimp & Steak Box
The Shrimp & Steak box is quite similar to the previous option, but it includes luxurious steaks instead of light and juicy chicken. It is suitable for up to 8 people and it costs $125. In addition to Spanish-spiced shrimp and steak with chimichurri sauce, it includes the same 3 sides and dessert you get with the Chicken & Shrimp box.
Steak & Chicken Box
The Steak & Chicken box is designed for carnivore parties where seafood is not only optional but redundant. It is designed to feed up to 8 people and features all the same crowd-pleasers as the previous boxes. The sole exception is the main dish, which features steak and chicken as primary proteins. The box costs $125.
Ordering
All 3 boxes are available within the Market section of the Blue Apron website. Whichever box you choose, you should order by Monday 12 PM EST if you want to receive your grilling kit before the weekend, i.e. on Thursday or Friday, depending on your location. If you order after 12 PM EST on Monday, you can expect your order to arrive on either Thursday or Friday the following week. Shipping is free on all boxes, which is pretty awesome news.
